It’s one of my favorite times of the year here at Meg’s Everyday Indulgence. I love looking through the stats for the year and finding the top 10 recipes for the year.
These recipes have all been published in 2022 and they are the ones you all loved the most. We’ve got lots of carbs and simple recipes this year.
As some of you may have noticed, I’ve slowed down posting here. I launched my own candle company and I’ve been dedicating most of my time to that. But no fear, I’ll still be posting new recipes a few times a month.
Thanks to all of you for stopping by, trying my recipes and leaving reviews. Your support means so much to me!
Now let’s get into the top recipes of 2022!
#10 Monte Cristo Pizza
This was a fun one! If you love a savory and sweet combination this is a grea recipe to try. I took the classic sandwich ingredients and turned it into an epic pizza.
Using Rhodes bread dough makes whipping up this pizza super simple.
#9 Italian Meat Lovers Pizza
We were all into pizza this year apparently. This pizza features pepperoni, diced salami, proscuitto and mozzarella to make the ultimate of meat lovers pizza.
And if you have an Ooni pizza oven, it’s even better for those crispy, fire baked edges.
#8 Smoked Bacon Cheese Bread Bombs
More carby deliciousness coming at you with this one. Bread dough is stuffed with a cream cheese, cheddar and bacon mixture then brushed with garlic butter before being placed in the smoker.
The smoker gives an amazing flavor to the cheeses and pairs so well with the bacon. If you don’t have a smoker, you can cook these on the grill or bake them in the oven.
#7 Parmesan Peppercorn Dressing
I have to say, I was surprised by the popularity of this recipe. Don’t get me wrong, it’s delicious and perfectly peppery but I just didn’t think it would make the top 10.
I love making homemade dressings and I’m glad to see you all do too.
#6 Breakfast Hot Pockets
I am not shocked at all to see these in the top 10. They were definitely a favorite of my family this year! I mean, who doesn’t love fluffy dough stuffed with all your favorite breakfast items?!
I think it’s popularity also lies in the ease of the recipe. They are easy to make and great to have on hand for easy on the go breakfasts. You can also prep and freeze them for future use.
#5 Air Fryer Tri Tip
I love an air fryer recipe so I’m glad to see they resonate with you all too. This recipe starts with my favorite coffee rub to give the air fryer an incredibly rich flavor.
Once seasoned, throw it in the air fryer and dinner is done in literal minutes. Gotta love that.
#4 Orange Creamsicle Cocktails
This orange creamsicle cocktail is SO simple yet so delicious. If you are nostalgic about creamsicles (hi, it’s me!) you are going to adore this grown up cocktail version.
You only need four ingredients and a minute to shake up this tasty orange vanilla drink. Perfect for parties or just hanging on the couch.
#3 Pumpkin Bread Pudding
This pumpkin bread pudding was a big hit this fall. Whether you’re enjoying it as dessert or breakfast, it’s simple to whip up and perfectly festive.
All you need is a handful of simple ingredients, our favorite kind of recipe.
#2 Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes
Donuts don’t have to be complicated to make at home thanks to Rhodes bread dough. These cinnamon sugar donut holes use frozen dough to make the proces super simple.
Rise dough, cut and fry. Then toss them in a cinnamon sugar mixture for a delicious breakfast or sweet snack.
#1 Buffalo Chicken Dip Pull Apart Rolls
And coming in at number one is this epic skillet of buffalo chicken dip pull apart rolls. This comes as zero surprise to me seeing that buffalo chicken recipes are ALWAYS a huge crowd favorite here at Meg’s Everyday Indulgence.
Simple, spicy, cheesy buffalo chicken dip is at the center of this skillet and then surrounded by fluffy, garlic butter rolls for all the dipping and dunking. It’s all baked together in the skillet making the perfect party appetizer.
