My love for everything bagel seasoning is still going strong and I’m hoping you all are feeling the same way. It’s just so good on all the things.

These Everything Bagel Croutons are no exception. They pack in so much flavor in each little bite and add so much goodness to whatever you choose to sprinkle them on.

Ingredients for Everything Bagel Croutons

The list is short and sweet for this one. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bagels: Day old bagels work perfectly for these croutons. If your bagels are fresh, no worries. You may just need to bake the croutons an extra minute or two to get them to the perfect level of crispy. If you don’t have bagels, you could still make these with French bread, ciabatta, sourdough…
  • Everything bagel seasoning: You can buy a jar at the store or make your own everything bagel seasoning.
  • Butter: To crisp up the croutons as they bake and give a nice, rich buttery flavor. You could also use olive oil but I think the butter tastes best with the bagels.

How to Make Everything Bagel Croutons

Start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees F. While the oven is warming, cut the bagels into 1-inch pieces and add to a large bowl.

Toss with melted butter and everything bagel seasoning. Spread on a rimmed baking sheet in a single layer and bake until golden and crisp.

My Favorite Ways to Use Bagel Croutons

The obvious answer is salad. I enjoy these crispy little bites any pretty much any kind of salad.

They are also really delicious as a garnish for soups. Especially a creamy, cheesy one.

You could also top casseroles with them if you’ve got that midwest flair.
