I am obsessed with my air fryer. Do you have one? Are you obsessed too?!

My new favorite recipe to make in this fabulous gadget is these Air Fryer Steak Bites. They literally take minutes are are so dang tender.

And you only need 4 ingredients. Can’t get much better than that.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Steak Bites

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Steak: Use your favorite cut. We love ribeye and New York strip. A boneless steak is easiest but not necessary.
  • Unsalted butter: Provides so much buttery goodness and flavor to the steak bites.
  • Kosher salt and black pepper: I’m keeping the seasoning super simple because in my opinion, all a good steak needs is salt and pepper. If you want to spice it up with more seasoning, feel free.

How to Make Air Fryer Steak Bites

Start by cutting the steak into 1-inch chunks. You can also buy steak tips if you want to save a little time. I find they aren’t as tender though so be careful of the cut.

Place the steak in a bowl then season with salt and pepper. Melt the butter then drizzle over the steak pieces and toss to coat.

Add steak to air fryer in a single layer and cook.

How Long to Cook

How long you cook the steak bites will depend on your preferences. The recipe cooks them a little more than medium so start with that as a guide.

If you like your steak bites more towards the well done side, I would recommend cooking for 6 minutes at first. Check one to see if they are done enough and if not, cook another minute.

If you want steak bites more on the rare side, start with 4 minutes. Keep in mind though, if you want that classic air fryer crunch/sear, you’ll need to cook them longer.

Fun Ways to Eat Air Fryer Steak Bites

The obvious answer is to just chow down. But you can also use these in different ways.

They are a great addition to salads, pastas, soups and more. I think they would be amazing over this Roasted Garlic Alfredo with a sprinkle of blue cheese or gorgonzola.

They pair well with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. I even love them on nachos. So many ways to inhale these juicy steak bites.
