The Top 10 Recipes of 2018 are coming in hot today. We’re taking a look back at the year and what was most popular here at Meg’s Everyday Indulgence.
I’m going to be super cliché for a sec. Can you believe that it’s the last day of 2018. As I get older it seems like the years go by faster and faster. Before we get into the reader favorites, I want to say thanks so much for stopping by this little space of mine, supporting me and trying all these recipes I love creating for you. I couldn’t do a post like this without you.
It means so much to me that you’re here and that you keep coming back. The fact that I can help you get dinner on the table for your family is just so cool and I’m so grateful.
So today, on the last day of the year, I’m sharing the top 10 reader favorites of 2018. You guys have good taste and it appears a love for the Instant Pot. No wonder we’re friends.
To be specific, half of the recipes on the list are Instant Pot so I know what I’ll be working on for the new year. If you aren’t a pressure cooker owner, would you want to see adaptations for the stovetop or slow cooker? Let me know in the comments.
I expected to see mostly main dish recipes but there is breakfast, mains, sides, appetizers and more. I love looking through the list at the end of each year to really see what you all are enjoying, pinning and making. And I love that you like a little variety in your life.
Now, onto the recipes!

This one is so easy and quick for weeknight meals. It goes so deliciously well with Hawaiian chicken.
#9 Instant Pot Apple Crisp
Dessert in the Instant Pot intrigued me so much and this was my first venture into pressure cooker desserts. I liked it and so did you guys.
#8 Crispy Buffalo Chicken Tenders
I knew this one would be a big hit considering my most popular recipe on the blog is this spicy fried chicken. We’re soul mates.
#7 Baked Enchilada Meatballs
Homemade meatballs baked in enchilada sauce and covered in cheese. What’s not to like about that?!

#5 Buffalo Chicken Coleslaw
My goal in life is to buffalo all the things. This coleslaw is one of my favorites so far.
#4 Instant Pot Mixed Berry Jam
I have to be honest, I was pretty surprised this jam was so high on the list. Not that it isn’t great but I just didn’t think of it as a Top 10 contender. So glad this simple, healthy jam is on your radar.
#3 Outrageous Au Gratin Potatoes
I completely and utterly stand behind these potatoes in the top 3. They are so ridiculously cheesy and perfect. Especially for the holidays and special occasions.

I’m all about the everything bagel spice and completely adore this super simple dip. It literally takes minutes to mix up and is so delicious with bagel chips and veggies.
#1 Instant Pot Breakfast Casserole
This one doesn’t surprise me at all. It’s been hugely popular since I published it and even made it a magazine feature.
There you have it my friends. If you haven’t tried one of these recipes, give them a try. Have a safe and happy new year. See you in 2019.
